Is SURFACe Protection´s Products Environmentally friendly?

YES, all our products were created with the environment in mind. Our research and development started to protect the oceans. The first version of our main product was developed to protect boats and yachts against aging. One of the biggest problems in ocean pollution is aged paint that flakes and ends up destroying marine life and sensistive maritime ecosystems. Our products are based on sand (mineral) and will degrade back as a mineral depository.

How long will the protection last?

This will depend on environmental factors. Some climates are more harsh and will attack the coating at a faster rate. The durability also depends on abbrasive forces, which means: if a object is moving (car, plane, boat), then wind, waves and particles in the air will basically – over time – remove the protective coating. The protection will last longer on objects or surfaces that are stationary (shower, kitchen, interiors, etc.)

We recommend to re-apply Defender-N every 5-6 months.

Is IT easy to apply?

Yes! Very easy. Just spray and wipe off with a microfiber cloth.

Industrial applications or wide scale applications (big ships, etc.) will require professional spraying equipment. If you have questions, please contact our team, as we have developed many solutions to apply Defender-N in an efficient and ecological way.

Do I need special gear or protective clothing?

Our products can be applied without special equipment or protective gear.

All products are not only environmentally friendly, but also health friendly. All our products are water-based and do not contain toxic or harmful chemical elements. We don’t use any dangerous substance or even common chemicals used in many household products.
